This picture that I've posted is one I did recently of my dog Jake. He was a Chesapeake Bay Retriever that has been gone now for almost four years and I miss him terribly. He was one of those once in a life time dogs that came into my life and absolutely captured my heart. I could tell so many stories, but then we'd be here forever! I credit him with getting my pet portrait business rolling because he had a face and a personality that needed it's story told so I did my first painting of him several years ago. Someone saw it and wanted a painting of their dog and the rest is starting to be history. This painting tells a little bit about his life, but there is so much more.
