Lady Bluetail

Lady Bluetail-acrylic 8" x 10"
Since the first sighting of this rare little lady the end of December, I knew that I would be doing a painting of her. Her presence has brightened up our normally dark and drab winter and given lots of folks good reason to get up, get out and enjoy nature. It has pleased me to no end to be able to visit her on almost a daily basis while also meeting with bird watchers and nature lovers from across the country.

I am also pleased that this painting is the first painting of 2017 and that it will be one of thirty paintings that will be exhibited in my first one-woman show this October at the Valley Art Center in Clarkston, WA.
Please look under my Events tab for further information on that.

2017 is off to a flying start in more ways than one! I'm looking forward to the days ahead sharing with you both my art and my adventures.....and maybe a rare bird or two!
